Guide
Take a photo that works
Fill the frame with a single leaf, flower or fruit. Avoid a whole bush from far away.
A leaf + a flower (or fruit) of the same plant is much more accurate than one photo.
Tap the screen to focus. Hold a leaf against the sky or your palm.
Open "Compare" on the result and check that the reference photos look like your plant.
How it works
- Identification — your photos are matched by Pl@ntNet, a botanical AI trained on millions of expert-verified plant photos.
- Verification — the name is checked in GBIF, and reference photos come only from iNaturalist and Wikipedia pages that are about exactly this species.
- Profile — an AI writes the uses, Ayurveda, food and growing details using those verified facts. Each medical use shows how strong the evidence is.
